This Grilled Shrimp {Scampi} adds a bit of a twist on the traditional recipe. The addition of ginger and lime juice creates a fresh bright flavor that's perfect for summer time grilling.

Ingredients
1/4CupSoy sauce
1/4CupSesame oil
2Limesjuiced
2teaspoonsHoney
12 inch piecefresh gingerfinely grated,
4ClovesGarlicchopped
1/2CupCanola oil
1StickUnsalted buttersoftened
24Extra colossal or jumbo shrimp
Instructions
Make the basting marinade:
Whisk all of the ingredients except for the butter and shrimp in a medium bowl.
Pour into a blender or food processor and blend for one minute.
Add butter and pulse until thoroughly combined.
You can store in refrigerator or freezer in a covered container or ziplock bag or use right away.
Cooking instructions:
Season shrimp with salt and pepper and brush with mixture.
Place on pre-heated grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side or until just cooked through.
(Cook time varies depending on size of shrimp used.)
To add more flavor, baste with mixture while grilling.
(Keep basting mixture separate from the left over mixture that you store so as not to contaminate.)
