Raw Cranberry Orange Relish
Raw Cranberry Orange Relish is the tart and tasty side dish that Thanksgiving Day would not be complete without! Apples, oranges and cranberries come together for a sweet and tangy explosion of flavors in your mouth!
Servings 12 people
- 2 Large Oranges
- 4 Cups Fresh cranberries
- 2 Red apples ,like macintosh, do not peel, cored
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Chopped walnuts ,optional
Peel oranges and reserve half of one peel. (If you have oranges with thick skin, scrape away some of the white part and discard)
Coarsely chop all of the fruit including the peel, in a food processor. Transfer fruit to a bowl, add sugar and mix well.
Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Add nuts and toss just before serving.
