Apple Pie Scream Cones! This hand held treat is a twist on the American classic Apple Pie. Pie Crust Cones are filled with Apple Pie Filling and then topped with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with Salted Caramel Sauce!

Ingredients

For the Apple Pie Filling:

  • 4 Medium Apples ,peeled, cored and diced
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 Cup Brown sugar
  • Lemon juice from half of a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch

1 Store bought pie crust or homemade

    Homemade Salted Caramel Sauce or store bought

      Instructions

      For the Apple Pie Filling

      • In a medium saucepan, place chopped apples, butter, brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat for about 5 to 8 minutes, until apples are tender. Stir occasionally. Add cornstarch and cook for another minute or until thickened. Allow mixture to cool.
