Fluffy Chocolate Hazelnut Fruit Dip

Servings 10 people
- 6 Ounces Semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 Cup Toasted hazelnuts
- 1/4 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Heavy cream ,whipped
- 1 ,8 ounce package Cream cheese ,softened
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Frangelico liqueur ,optional
In a small sauce pan heat milk over medium heat until steam begins to rise from it. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Let sit for 1 minute. Once chocolate has softened whisk until smooth and creamy. If adding Frangelico mix in at this point. Set aside.
In a blender process hazelnuts on high for one minute. Pour melted chocolate into the mixer and blend for 1-2 more minutes until well combines. Scrape into a small bowl and let cool completely.
In a medium bowl mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth for 1-2 minutes. Add cooled chocolate/hazelnut mixture to cream cheese and beat well.
In a separate bowl whip heavy cream to medium peaks.
Fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture until well combined. Chill for 1 hour to overnight until ready to serve.
If chilled overnight stir well before serving to soften it up a bit. Top with chopped hazelnuts if desired.
