  • 2 Cups Fresh strawberries ,stems removed, hulled and cut up
  • 2/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract


  • Place strawberries and sugar in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce to medium low and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until strawberries soften and sauce thickens. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over pancakes and waffles warm or let it cool and use it to top your ice cream.
