These Homemade Peanut Butter Cups are a healthier spin on everyone’s favorite peanut buttery sweet treat. Made with all natural peanut butter and {Dairy Free} and Gluten Free too! You never realize how much you love something until you can’t eat it anymore! There are so many things that my daughter loves that contain dairy and can no longer enjoy anymore like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. No one should be deprived of that peanut buttery goodness so I got to work!
She may be getting a little old for the Easter Bunny to deliver an Easter Basket to but I figured I’d pose as the Easter Bunny this year and make her favorite treat in a way she could actually enjoy!
While I was at it I figured I’d try healthing them up a bit by not adding a ton of sugar. Instead I bought some Teddy Brand All Natural Creamy Peanut Butter and sweetened them with a little agave. I like using agave because it’s 4 times sweeter than sugar so you don’t need to use as much and it has a low glycemic value.
These little Homemade Peanut Butter Cups were the perfect Easter treat for my daughter.
The fact that they’re {Dairy Free} made it even better. Her only problem was the fact that she needed to share them because everyone wanted one!
