Looking for a quick app to throw together for that party tonight? This {Cheesy} Bacon Dip is easy to make and will disappear as soon as it’s served!
I was introduced to this delicious appetizer years ago by a friend of mine at our monthly Bunco game night.
When my children were younger I had a group of (Mom) friends that I would get together with to play Bunco. We would get together once a month. Everyone would take turns hosting and everyone would bring an appetizer or dessert to share. It was so much fun and I met so many wonderful women that became life long friends. Unfortunately all good things must end. Our kids grew up, people moved and our little tradition ended. 🙁
Lately I’ve been remembering our fun Bunco games and I developed a craving for this {Cheesy} Bacon Dip. There were always so many tasty dishes that were brought to share. Everyone always looked forward to this dip in particular though. It never lasted very long because who doesn’t love cheese and bacon?! My friend never actually shared her recipe with us. We would always ask but she said it was a secret. So this recipe took a little leg work on my part. I searched for recipes with Swiss Cheese and Bacon and I ended up adapting a Rachael Ray recipe that I came across. I think I hit the nail on the head! Secret revealed! One taste and all those fun Bunco memories came flooding back! I’m thinking it’s time for a Bunco reunion!
