Give your salad an extra healthy boost with this Raw Apple Cider Vinaigrette! Seasoned with dijon mustard, fresh garlic and raw honey for a little sweetness it’s the most delicious way to eat healthy! Raw Apple Cider Vinaigrette

The apparent health benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar are countless.

From a dandruff and acne remedy to its ability to aid in weight loss and lowering cholesterol. There’s all kinds of creative ways to take this magical vinegar potion but I just like it the old fashioned way.  On my salad!

The fact is that vinegar in general is definitely good for you.  I just love the flavor that Apple Cider Vinegar adds to this Vinaigrette. Mixed together with freshly chopped garlic, dijon mustard and raw honey it makes me look forward to eating salad like my Arugula Salad {with Prosciutto Wrapped Apples} for lunch!

Leafy greens isn’t the only thing that it’s good on though.  Try using it as a marinade for chicken, beef or fish or add it to your potato or pasta salad for a little zip! This batch made its way onto my Apple Walnut Quinoa Salad that I’ll be sharing the recipe for tomorrow!

Apple Walnut Quinoa Salad

Making Vinaigrettes like this one are so simple and taste so much better than store bought dressings not to mention much healthier.  There’s no added chemicals or preservatives just fresh healthy ingredients.  Place them all in a mason jar and shake! Voila! Healthy delicious Apple Cider Vinaigrette to drizzle on whatever you like!

Raw Apple Cider Vinaigrette

If you really want to make your salad healthy drizzle it with this Raw Apple Cider Vinaigrette! Seasoned with dijon mustard, fresh garlic and raw honey for a little sweetness it’s the most delicious way to eat healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Clove Garlic ,minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 Cup Raw apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Raw honey ,as needed for sweetness
  • 1/3 Cup Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper ,to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in glass mason jar, then seal the lid and shake until the honey dissolves and the ingredients are well combined. For best flavor, allow the dressing to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Alternate method for mixing.....place ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 minute.
