Raw Cranberry Orange Relish is the tart and tasty side dish that Thanksgiving Day would not be complete without! Apples, oranges and cranberries come together for a sweet and tangy explosion of flavors in your mouth!
I can’t believe Thanksgiving is a week away! It’s amazing how much more quickly time seems to pass the older I get. This year I will be hosting Thanksgiving along with my mom and all the kids are coming! I am so excited that Paul and I will be having all of the kids together in one place! It’s always so much fun when they are all together. We are so lucky that they all get along so well and actually look forward to being together. That’s not always the case when you blend two families together so I will be putting that on my “What I am grateful for” list this year.
I have a lot going on this year and I’m not really sure how I’m going to pull it off. If you’ve ever hosted a holiday meal you know how much work goes into it. Hosting Thanksgiving is just the beginning though! Friday I need to bake and decorate 200 mini cupcakes and a 6 inch cake for a wedding on Saturday. Then I need to deliver the cupcakes and cake on Saturday and be back in time to host our 7th annual Gingerbread House Party! I also have not baked my Gingerbread House parts yet! I’m definitely going to have to kick it into high gear!
The good thing is this Raw Cranberry Orange Relish is so quick and easy to make I can whip it up in about 10 minutes! Simple recipes that can be thrown together quickly are awesome to have on hand when your hosting a holiday gathering. When they’re as delicious as this one is that’s even better!

This recipe came from a cookbook called “Seasons of Thyme”. A friend of mine put it together a few years back to celebrate our town’s heritage. It’s filled with treasured recipes that different people from my town shared and this one caught my eye. I’ve been wanting to try it for some time now and finally got around to it. I’m so glad that I did! It’s definitely a new Family Favorite!
