Bring the tropical flavors of Hawaii home with sweet and refreshing Mai Tais!
I hope all of you dad’s out there enjoyed a fun and relaxing Father’s Day this past weekend! It looked as though we were going to have a bit of a wash out here in Massachusetts but by the afternoon the clouds broke and we had sunshine and blue skies the rest of the day. We were even able to get dad to take a little break from the U.S Open Golf Championship to take a boat ride on the lake!
I don’t know about you but I always find it difficult to shop for my father. What do you buy the man who has everything?
This year I had the brilliant idea of making his favorite drink along with some tasty apps for him to enjoy while kicking back and watching Jordan Spieth take his second big golf tournament win of the year! I have to admit…I’m not a huge golf fan but that was an exciting finish!
Dad gave the Mai Tais a thumbs up and he even shared some with mom and I!

I used maraschino cherries and some fresh mint leaves to garnish this Mai Tai along with a little paper umbrella.
These Mai Tais were the perfect way to celebrate a relaxing Father’s Day. They were so delicious we may even need to mix up a batch for dad’s birthday next week!
