The warmth of ginger and tanginess of cranberry is the perfect combination to top your salad with to give it an Asian flare. This Cranberry Asian Ginger Dressing is a sweet and tangy treat!
I have been working really hard to try to shed my “winter coat” over the past few weeks. I am pleased that I am seeing results too! There’s nothing worse than not seeing a difference on the scale or in the way your clothes fit when you’ve been so good about eating healthy and exercising. It can be a little discouraging.
While I love eating healthy I refuse to “only” eat to fuel my body. If it’s going in my mouth it has to taste good or I’ll never stick with it. For me that’s the trick to sticking with healthy eating habits. There are many delicious healthy foods out there so there’s no reason for your food not to taste great!
I love making my own homemade dressings and vinaigrettes to dress my salads like the Orange Raspberry Vinaigrette and Raw Apple Cider Vinaigrette that I shared a few weeks ago. It’s so easy to whip up your own homemade dressing and it tastes better! What’s the point of eating a healthy salad only to douse it with a fatty dressing that’s loaded with preservatives? I like to save those calories for other treats. Yes… I definitely have a sweet tooth!
I made this Cranberry Asian Ginger Dressing to top my Cranberry Ginger Broccoli Slaw. I love fresh ginger so it was the perfect way to give my Broccoli Slaw a little Asian flare. It will be a great grab and go lunch for me this week. That’s another trick that helps me stick with healthy eating habits. Having healthy dishes in my fridge ready to go so I don’t grab junk!
