For the Fish and Fish Marinade

  • 2 Pounds Cod ,or flaky white fish as suggested in recipe
  • 1/4 Cup Olive oil
  • 1 Lime ,Juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon Ancho Chile Powder
  • 1 Jalapeno ,diced
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped, fresh Cilantro

For the Creamy Fish Sauce

  • 1/4 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Lime ,juiced
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Garlic Sauce ,see recipe notes for link to the one I use

Other ingredients needed for Tacos

  • 16 Soft Taco Tortillas
  • Jicama Slaw Recipe link in recipe notes
  • Mango Salsa ,Recipe link in recipe notes


For the Fish and Fish Marinade

  • Preheat oven to 425 Degrees F. 
  • Place all ingredients except for the fish in a medium bowl and whisk together. 
  • Place fish in a shallow baking dish and pour marinade over it. Cover and place in the fridge to marinate for about 20 minutes. 
  • Line a baking sheet with tin foil and place fish on it. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until fish is cooked through and flaky. 
  • Heat a skillet to medium high, lightly spray with oil and heat tortillas for about 30 seconds per side. 

For the Creamy Fish Sauce

  • Place all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Taste and feel free to add any more chili garlic sauce if you like it spicier.
